These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the A1 Drivers Ed website and your enrollment in any A1 Drivers Ed course. By using our website or enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms. If you are enrolling a minor, you are agreeing to these Terms on that student's behalf as their parent or legal guardian.
Our Services
A1 Drivers Ed provides Ohio BMV-approved driver training, including teen driver education, adult driver training, defensive driving, and road test preparation. Course content, schedules, and instructors are subject to change to accommodate weather, vehicle availability, and staffing.
Eligibility & Enrollment
- Students must meet the age and permit requirements applicable to their course, as set by the Ohio BMV.
- Students under 18 must be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and for the student's conduct during lessons.
- Enrollment is confirmed only once payment is received through our website checkout.
Payment & Pricing
Course prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice. Payment is due at the time of enrollment unless otherwise agreed in writing. All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
- Lessons or road tests may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice, subject to instructor availability.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed lessons without notice, may be charged as a completed session.
- Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be prorated based on lessons already completed.
Conduct & Vehicle Use
Students are expected to arrive on time, follow instructor guidance, and behave respectfully and safely during lessons. Instructors have full authority to end a lesson, use instructor-side controls, or refuse further service to any student whose conduct they consider unsafe. Students may be held financially responsible for damage to A1 Drivers Ed vehicles caused by their negligence or disregard of instructor guidance.
Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability
Learning to drive carries inherent risk. By enrolling, students and, where applicable, their parent or guardian acknowledge this risk. To the fullest extent permitted by Ohio law, A1 Drivers Ed's liability arising from our courses or services is limited to the amount paid for the course in question. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Website Use & Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials associated with our website and for all activity under your account. All content on this website, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of A1 Drivers Ed and may not be reproduced without permission.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
